Hello All,

its been a long time. Could anyone please point me to the general colour scheme of the General Steam Navigation Company 1900 - 1920.

Was it a dark blue hull and white upper structure and white trim?

The funnel was the standard Black with GSNC logo on either side

Building a 1:200 scale scratch build of SS (HMT) Fauvette in 1915. Like to be as accurate as possible.

Any help always appreciated - happy to send you my PM for any extra info.

There is a site called simplonpc.co.uk >GSN which has a collection of postcards of most if not all of the ships of the company unfortunately the ones of the Fauvette are black and white but a sister ship called the Halcyon is in colour which might be of use to you. Try googling the simplon.co.uk address and have a look. It is beyond my capabilities to post the link but good luck with your search.
