ED Letter Knife

These sort of things were sometimes given to passengers on the maiden voyages of Elders mailboats. I've also come across napkin rings, matchbox holders etc. Does it have the ship's name on it?
They sometimes appear on e bay but don't seem to be of any great value.

A wild guess.
The inscription on the knife mentions Bermuda and the West Indies.
I may be wrong, but I think that the only connection Elder Dempster had to that part of the world was their Imperial Direct West India Mail Line in the first decade of the twentieth century.
