I've downloaded an update on Google Earth but when I select a certain place it is overlaid with street names etc.

I want to get rid of that facility as it detracts from the 'view'. I've looked all over the site but cannot find how to do it.

I'm sure there'll be someone who can help------if you do I'll let you have a go at carrying that ladder on YOUR bike.

Top of the screen to the right of the search box there is an icon which opens a 'side bar'
Open that and you will see options for what is shown under 'layers' - just un-tick any boxes of things you do not want to see, or vice versa.
Click on the icon again and you will be back in the full screen.

And no, I will just carry my own ladder ta very much.(==D)
