Although you cannot consider this a preserved vessel, however, it looks like she will never be put back into the drink again and lies high and dry in Port Adelaide. Perhaps one day she may get restored.
Homeport is Brisbane and she was built in 1945.
The funnel has a remarkable logo: $ 1.00 (one dollar).
There is a small write up of this vessel in the homepage of the South Australian Maritime Museum . Apparently she was delivered to the Australian Navy together with a sister tug :Forceful, somewhere in the 50's

I have no further information.

Lipson Street used to house all the shipping companies and ship chandlers.

There are still shipping lines represented in the various buildings, Customs, etc., it is a nice and well maintained area near the waterfront.

I guess in case you buy this tug for one dollar, then there will be certain conditions attached and Ruud it is like buying a windmill in Holland in a poor shape.
You can buy that for one dollar (read Euro)too.

Anyway if you want to go ahead, then I give you the paints FOC.
