I have got information about this shipowner in Haugesund Norway but I cant find anything about them. I believe that there is something wrong. I found A Hauge but no AS Fjeldeöy. Please help.

Firstly I think you are spelling Fjeldeoy wrong it should be Fjeldøy. The AS (or can be A/s) is the equivalent of Ltd in the UK)
It appears the MMS 25 ( Motorised Mine Sweeper) was bought by the company AS Fjeldøy in 1947( owned by Thorvald Johan Kyvik of Haugesund.)
A google search for Th Joh Kyvik of Haugesund shows he was a ship owner in the mid 50’s but the family has quite a long association with marine and fishing interests in Haugesund.

Hi, I cannot connect H Hauge with Fjeldøy a/s by searching the internet. The Chant 64 ship you are looking for also is not easy to find any information unlike some of the other Chant ships. Maybe H or A Hauge was the owner and Fjeldøy a/s were the brokers.
What specfic Information are you looking for?

I am working on the history of Chant 64 for my homepage and there are some details missing. One of them is who was the owner after she left UK in 1946. She came to Sweden late September 1946 after have being sold in Haugesund on 12th September. Today I found another info that she was sold to Cia. Cerro Pando de Navegacion S.A., Panama
Inbeteen Noray and Sweden. I have seen in other cases that there has been a broker involved.
The info Cia. Cerro ................. come from “Tees built ships”. Tees is the river where the yard was located.
