I'm new to the forum and hope someone may be of some help to me.
I am trying to find some information on a ship named Kyleglen (not sure if this is correct spelling but its my best guess).
My uncle who sadly is no longer with us used to tell me when I was a child that he served on this ship as an AB as far as I remember
The only other info I have is that he often spoke about being at sea the night the Flying Enterprise was lost which was Jan 1952 and that the bosuns name was John Power who was from the same little village as himself in Waterford, Southern Ireland.
I would be greatful for any information on above or if anyone could suggest where I could look for further research

I will see if I can find a crewlist for circa1952.

Tks eddyw thats most likely The Kyleglen I'm interested in .
I must see if I can get crew list for circa 1952 and maybe record of some passages she made and see if my uncles name is on it .

Try asking the Maritime history archive at Memorial University of Newfoundland their website is http://www.mun.ca/mha if you ask if the hold the records for the "Kyleglen " official No 160272 for 1952 if they have them then you request which part you want crew list etc they charge for the copies sent by mail good luck
