I am surprised that nobody has commented on the mass shooting in Nova Scotia this past weekend, apparently the worst in Canadian history. When such events occur in the US, there is normally a flurry of comments on SN.
Just curious.

Thank you for that. I knew there had to be an explanation.Too much distraction Chris, what with Trump and Corona etc
Totally agree. No doubt someone will excuse the tw*t on mental health grounds or something. Very sad for a beautiful and peaceful country. Thoughts are with the poor families left behind.Very sad to find this deranged person went to great lengths to perpetuate this horrendous act. He obviously had planned it for some time to go to disguise himself as a "mountie" and change of vehicles.
May he rot in hell for this act of complete madness inflicted on innocent people.
This is now the most mass killing in Canadian history and not what we expect in our usually peaceful country.

Are Canada's gun laws similar or tighter than the US?
It is sickening how deranged a mind can become. I assure you there is sadness and sympathy everywhere for your lovely country and its admired people. This morning, a cadet I sailed with in the seventies reached out to me, by Email, from New Zealand. Our province and communities are in total shock and grieving. What more can you say or do?
