[Scotch Boiler]

Hi, I have inherited a set of bookshelves made by my grandfather when he was a plumber at Scotts in Greenock. They carry the name of a vessel which we have pieced together and think is View attachment 695972
Moorsman. Can anyone tell me anything about the vessel. I am guessing she was at Scotts for dismantling? Time frame would probably be the 1950s.

In the 50,s Scotts would have been busy building new ships, but the Moorsman could have been in for a refit.
