I well remember in the early sixties, while citizens of the UK were just beginning to discover the delights of jet travel to Tenerife and the Costa del sol etc., returning with with appropriate stickers, my suitcase was plastered with beer labels. Tusker from East Africa, La Batts and Moosehead from Canada,(crap),Bud from the U.S. same. Fosters and others I forget now. Much more cosmopolitan and superior I thought.

By the early seventies, most departure lounges seemed full of Canadian students with enormous back packs. Maple Leaf flags everywhere!

You used the beer labels to cover the Louis Vuitton and Gucci labels I presume.
