I think she is what's left of Ocean Explorer I, Ex: Sapphire Seas, Emerald Seas, Atlantis, President Roosevelt, Leilani, LaGuardia, General W. P. Richardson
She was finally named ‘Explorer’ for her delivery voyage to the Alang Indian breakers yard.

She was one tough, strongly built ship.... one of the reasons both for her longevity and for her later use on short 3-4 day cruises. Even to the end, you could still see the faint bead welding marks PRESIDENT ROOSEVELT on her bows and stern. As PRESIDENT ROOSEVELT, I number her as one of my all time favourite ships... just beautiful looking and most have been sheer heaven being among the 165-odd passengers she took on her round the world cruises.

Back in the days when ships looked like ships, and not horrible floating boxes!
