Built 1959 by Fleming & Ferguson Ltd., Paisley, Yard No. 794, for the Taranaki Harbours Board, New Plymouth.
923grt. 201' 1" x 41' 6" x 11' 11".
A Grab and Suction Hopper Dredger, she was fitted with a Steam triple expansion 6Cy 460ihp engine by her builders. In the early 1980s, she was refitted with diesel engines, most of the work being done at Lyttelton. Sold in the late 1980s/early 1990s to Port Dredging Ltd., Birkenhead, Auckland.
On 4 May 1995, whilst dredging off Tweed Heads, Queensland, Australia, she suffered serious damage when, in a heavy swell, she rolled onto her Draghead. Temporary repairs were affected at anchorage off Kirra Beach and she then proceeded under her own power to Brisbane where she was slipped for permanent repairs.
I have heard nothing of her since and hoping that a Member may be able to bring me up to date.

First photo shows her dredging at Timaru in April 1993 and the second laid up at Lyttelton about six weeks later.
