This was Carnivals first new build and arrived in Miami just before Christmas 82.Prior to the inaugural cruise Carnival’s employees Christmas party was held on board with sit down meal, open bar and live entertainment, worked for Intercon Overseas( Carnival cargo company) in Miami at the time, a long time ago!
