Did my new "sparkes" 6 months on Changuinola 1960-61. T.P.Jones (Shropshire) Ch. R/O. Capt Cruickshank Skipper - (Judo trainer) What happened to apprentices -Davy and Francis I wonder?. Happy days !

Hi Frank I was 3rd Mate on the "Changuinola" March thru Sept 1961.
Remember T.P.Jones very well...real gentleman

"Changuinola" dry docking in Southampton, Summer 1961...spent a lot of time standing bye down there, remember playing cricket on the boat decks of the S boats and also for the Fyffes shore staff at their ground.

Found some old pictures, thumbnails really..been unable to find the negatives, hence poor quality. Maybe someone will recognise themselves, we had a bit of a bash as I was leaving to get married.
