This wonderful Lady has been my pin up from a very tender age. She is less than 5 months away from her 102nd birthday.

Speaking to fellow 'Elders', who is YOUR oldest pal, singer, film star, shipmate and how long has the relationship ~ be it subliminal ~ been under way?

Great picture of a lovely lady; used to make me weep when she sung the 'Blue Birds over the White cliffs of Dover"

Hi Tugger.

Yes, she's a 'one off'. Hope you can open the 'under link' which is her pictured with the lovely Maggie the hostess of the 'Portcullis Club' on the old Kenley fighter 'drome. I'm an honorary member through Geoff, a Coastal Command WWII Lancaster pilot a long standing pal sadly now 'Angels' one five.

Vera was just 'one of the lads' and everything one imagined her to be. Here's to March 20th '19 and her CII.
