Polarbjorn belongs to the Norwegian counterparts? of the British Antarctic Survey. Like Sir Earnest Shackleton, (BAS) she works the Northern Hemisphere summer months with ROV work in the oil & gas fields. (Thumb)

I was on her Maiden Voyage for 12 weeks. She was built as a Antartic Research Vessel. She comes back to the North Sea every Summer and does mainly ROV Work. We started a website on her which still runs today. There is a couple of photos of her in My Gallery entering/leaving Aberdeen. She is well kitted out onboard typical Norwegian style.
