Larg's Bay

What's the story re the choice of name for this ship. ?
One background for the name lies with Australian Commonwealth Shipping Line formed in 1919 with an order for 5 passenger vessels of 13,000 tons each
The 5 were to be 'BAY' Liners.
Moreton, Larg's, Esperance, Hobsons and Jervis
Bay were delivered from British Shipbuilders during 1921 and 22
Larg's Bay built by William Beardmore & Co., Dalmuir, Scotland was in service til 1957.

It is most likely that they have been named after their namesake Bays around the British Isles. Two of the names were formely used for Bay Class frigates during WW2, ie Cardigan Bay and Mounts Bay.
