All five crew were said to be safe and well

A fishing boat has been escorted to harbour after taking on water off the Aberdeenshire coast.
The 23-metre Banff-registered Arcana, with five people on board, had been six miles off Macduff.

An RAF Lossiemouth rescue helicopter went to assist. Pumps on the boat were said to be coping and the Arcana was escorted to Macduff by lifeboat.

An Aberdeen Coastguard spokesman said the boat arrived safely on Tuesday afternoon and all on board were well.

That's good news for a change.
