I am looking for information about a small coasting vessel, the SS Tosca of Ayr which is the subject of a painting by Reuben Chappell. I think that she was built in the early part of the 20th century. Any help much appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry did,nt read the previous post thoroughly ...wrong ship !!! Doh !!
The Chappell painting was sold for £1450 well ahead of the estimated price of £150 -£200 !
