Being hard of hearing we rely almost completely on the text on TV programmes.
Recenrtly, like this evening, there was no text anywhere.
Pressing all the **** to make it return have no effect.
Anyone any idea what could be wrong ?
Speaking to Sky doesn't help either. They told mr to press rthe reset button which I did till my finger was numb.

Last night the 'red' button on ITV (sky) News at 10 did not become active until well into the introduction. This seemed unusual although not an inveterate watcher, maybe related?

I had a fault-----

----t' other day whereby I couldn't change Channels. TV was 'stuck' on the one Channel (BBC1) and I couldn't 'change'.
I 'unplugged' from the wall-socket, left it for about a minute, (it does a 'reboot'), 're-plugged' and Bingo! back to normal.

That happens to my box occasionally after Sky has updated the receiver, I do the same, unplug the box and reboot...
