The USS Kitty Hawk (CV63) sailed into Fremantle harbour this morning, She is the oldest active duty warship in the US navy.
The USS Cowpens (CG63) a guided missile cruiser and the USS Russel (DDG59) have been in port for a few day already.

I can remember as a lad when she was brand new and just being fitted out. Gads that was a long time ago.
