Well its clearly something to do with Tuvalu but isn't the national flag as that has nine stars on it. So maybe an organisation of some kind on Tuvalu:
Could be:
  • Navy
  • Air force
  • Canoe force (HOHO)
  • Merchant Navy
  • Coastguard
  • Customs and Excise
  • National Airline
All complete guesses of course as I can't find the damn thing. Bahh and Dratt!

Did Santa Claus bring you a book of flags for Christmas Chris?(*))

I think I will have to give it to you Brian, (Applause)

its the Tuvalu Ensign of 1975 for use by Tuvalu Government owned vessels, apparantly still being used today.

You were very close Pat, (Thumb) didnt know they had a Yacht Squadron !!!!

I cheated really as I made a whole bunch of guesses there!

BTW did you check out the flag for Greenland? It has no green on it at all and is red and white. Maybe they are planning ahead for the impact of global warming? Nice flag anyway - a bit different from the usual ones.

What I would also like to know is why tricolours should be so popular for flags. They are SOOOOO boring!
