Simply the Best only because she looks like a NESS!!! Great looking ships. I think the WAVE's will assume the mantle of most attractive RFA when these ships retire.

Hi Shaun, do the Waves inherit that title through lack of competiton? I like the Waves, they look pretty impressive, but I'd never thought of them as attractive? :)

Just a personal thought and of the ships built recently I think they look the best. I guess you are right; LSD are ugly and that's it for new ships! Of the rest, I would think it's a toss up between the AOR and ROVER for a nice looker as all the others can hardly take that claim!

I'm not sure that any modern vessel built for the RFA today can ever look as nice as the Middle old Forts. All these stealth angles of superstructure basically make 'em look horrible. The Bay boats, Sorry Shaun but whoever designed them, ought to be shot. They look very unstable to me. I met a Guy who had sailed in one and I'm sure that He told me that one time they were'nt far short a 45 degree roll. I'm feel sure that Shaun will put Me right on that. Seriously though The Big FA and FG/R will always be the Best for Me. Never knew You were at sea aboard them.

Just about to go back to Cardigan Bay for my sins. They are lively ships but 45 degress sounds a touch OTT but it certainly feels like that sometimes especially way up on the Bridge! NESS or FORT who cares they both look great.
