I'm pretty sure that a German friend of mine lived in ground floor apartment of the building in the foreground.Had many a party there. He bought it in the 70s and sold it in the 90s just before the handover. Made a fortune.
We used to watch the fireworks at Chinese New Year, what a sight !!. Don't know how many tons of gunpowder or whatever they used but it was enough to light up the whole of the harbour; quite amazing
That`s just gotta be a Ben Line boat down there )
One of my `favourite` ports........would love to return for a `looksee` but would it hold the same fascination for me now I wonder ?
Kowloon/Star Ferry/Hong Kong.........is there a tunnel now ??
