I took quite a few photos of the engine room of the ship I was last on, and thought people here would be quite interested. It's an 10RTA96C main engine and MAK 8M25 gennies. I'll just post a few directly here, and link to the full set on flickr.
One of the 3 main engine turbochargers. They spin at up to 9000rpm to provide boost at just over 2 bar.

Tachometer and rev counter - it does 100rpm at most in either direction.
