Hi again Stevie from down here in Aotearoa,ye your right mate she was the same as a couple of the Bay boats we used to cross paths with i think it was the Resolution Bay we went on one time and found our way to the bar nae bother same place.I spent about 8 months on here and had a great time Box boat or not it was changed days by then of course(1980)but we used to at least get about 10 days on the coast if we were lucky.I see those pesky leads on the mooring deck where we nearly came a cropper one february going up to St Johns (check Barrinoz,s Ripping yarns thread for the whole scary story) good memories of this Ship apart from that.

Hi Alex,Aye there was three of the same class as the ACT 7...Resolution and Mairangi Bay plus NZ Pacific..good party ships on the coast i must admit! Remuera Bay crew bar was great as it was on main deck level and well away from up top so many good times were had on her!! Did you manage to make contact with Andy Thomson yet...still not sure if he's back home yet or not. Aye there was some odd leads on them right enough and the Remuera was worse with mooring wires crossing over each other on the aft deck.
