This photo was on the random gallery. I am suprised that there are no comments. She was built in 1925 as the Berlin, for Norddeutscher Lloyd. She had an eventful life, including a boiler explosion in 1939, being mined and sunk in shallow water off Swinemunde, raised by the Soviets and used to provide cruises for the party faithful.
In 1986 she had just left port on a Black Sea cruise when she collided with a Soviet freighter and sank in 15 minutes with the loss of about 800 lives.
Someone must have some more information

On 15 September 1986 she was rammed by the freighter Pytor Velev and sank, both masters were found to be at fault and given prison sentences.

Built by Bremer Vulkan, Veggesack 1925 as Berlin. 17053 GRT, 572 ft long, x 69 ft wide. Steam triple expansion engines, twin screw, service speed 16 knots, 870 first class passengers. Used as a hospital ship during the war, struck a mine in 1945 and sank, raised 4 years later by the Soviets, it took 8 years to rebuild her, re-emerging as Admiral Nakhimov.
