In that game, what you are proud of is having worked for the larger ones of the cruise lines. The framework within which you have to work makes the room for any aesthetic considerations extremely limited, and to produce anything remotely creative at all will be considered a great victory. And it might be observed that the ones you have satisfy are the owners, who wants more of what gives profit, and more of that, and still more.
OMG, what has happened to this industry? Is there anybody else beside myself who chooses a ship to voyage on based on the appearance of the ship? I would not be happy even being aboard this monstrosity.
It must be very confusing for the seamen crew members compared to the hundreds of entertainer etc.. crew. They think they're running a ship, the others think it's a holiday resort. And ne'r the two shall ever meet.
