The Greek cargo ship ALEXANDRA of 1913 struck a mine off Terschelling on 20th March 1947 and her bow was severely damaged under the waterline. She could stay afloat however and was towed to Amsterdam. Here we see her in the IJmuiden locks on 21st Match 1947.
