I wonder what the significance of the "Watneys-Grill" is that's been crudely painted on her superstructure?

Surely it has no reference to the former British, Watneys brewery/pub group!

Do have any idea as to what it's supposed to mean or it's relevance Harry?

apparantly it was some (homesick?) wit thereabouts, let loose with a tin of paint and a brush shortly after the grounding

One of two tankers under tow for Taiwan breakers which broke adrift and grounded in heavy weather. There seems to have been a well attended charity 'shipwreck' party with band/disc/lights held aboard which may explain the sign. Later broken up in situ.
