Nice picture of a fine tug, we have had her a couple of times down on the Humber.
L 33.0 B 11.4 D 5.0 Draft 3.9 mts Grt 433 dwt 219 tonnes
Machinery : Twin Niigata Z31 ASD drives, twin Niigata 6L28HX 2,200 bhp diesels
55 Tonnes BP, Single brunvoll bow-thruster, free running speed 13.2 knots on 12 tonnes per day, fuel cap 103 tonnes
Built 2000 by Astilleros Zamacona SA , Spain

Funny place to have a thruster warning sign, lol.

Think I saw her in Loch Long today.

Its a funnel thruster !, be interesting to hear from someone with experience of these types of tug why they have a thruster seeing as they are ASD tugs

I am reliably informed that the bow-thruster is purely for improved manoeuvrability within docks and harbours and not used while towing.
