Barton/Barrow Claypits River Humber was a popular coasting hole in the wall (especially in the miners strike). Now sadly in a bad state.

Thanks

You must be getting it confused with somewhere else Ray! Claypits was best run ashore on the Humber. No weekend work, safe berth, 2 tide discharge, friendly natives, pleasant climate, easy access to the pub. What more could you want?
All the best.
