Quite a turn out on the Round Tower to see the sub off. A school group was also present to wave the Boise off, I suppose a submarine being a novelty to the youngsters and a great way of stirirng the imaginations of kids. Whichever school that was I take my hat off to them. Little do they know, Portsmouth (well Haslar, Gosport) was once a thriving sub base.
