Of course the 'chi' made more sense when it was on the funnels of ships belonging to the parent company, 'Chi'-andris Line. (Not that the average American onboard had a clue about the Greek alphabet. Or cared.)
It just seems to me that having two-funnel ships in one's fleet, yet only applying the company logo to one of the funnels, is an odd design decision. ECLIPSE's aft stack is reduced to looking rather like an unwanted appendage.
It amuses me to remember that when I sailed aboard the brand-spanking-new HORIZON - Celebrity's first ship - in 1990, the cruise industry was full of talk about how the new Chandris venture would never succeed. "How would those budget-minded Greeks have any idea how to operate an upscale cruise line!" The doubters were very quickly proven wrong...

Graham, the blip is one of the problems with images around our coast, it is a gull getting in on the act. Sorry to blow the theory of aliens trying for cheap cruises.
China Hand, these ships scare me with the top sides and so little below the water.
Crawford.
