Nice pic Sinisa

I'm sure she is the ex Lake Eildon. She started life without the deck gear. I'm sure the gear was poached from Lake Eyre & Lake Barrine. They started life with three cranes but now have only two as Julia & Clary sailing European waters. Great to see they are still around. Lake Eildon was almost my first ship when she came to Port Kembla on her maiden voyage. I was to start as a wiper but after a union meeting on board they decided to get someone from Sydney instead as she was to be home ported there.

Best Regards
Peter

Hi Peter, you are right she is ex Lake Eildon,I sailed on her for 12 months as IR, 2004/2005 the two cranes are of a French manufacturer and were fitted in Vietnam late 90's I think. Word has it they were lying in a swamp for some time before they were fitted. She only runs Brisbane/Gladstone now.Lake Barrine is still running as Clipper Sun.Really enjoyed my time on Cementco good ship, great crowd.
