Definitely not Clan Graham. Almost certainly Clan Alpine.
Clan Graham class did not have the small kingpost aft. This is one of the Macgillivray class and must be the last one Clan Alpine on various details

Agreed ... is Clan Alpine.

Clan Graham and sisters were just like earlier classes...but with the accomodation moved one hatch aft.

Is it 'I' or is it not? Therein is the question BUT 'I' have a question. Clan suggests Scotland and things Scottish; always thought the Scottish spelling of my name was Graeme?

It is the Alpine.
Clan Macgillivray, Macgowan and Macgregor had portholes not windows like the Alpine.
Sailed on all 3 of them! First ships with bridge control of the engines.

Thanks all comments gents, you are quite right of course, 'Clan Alpine' she is.

In fact now that you mention it, I feel that I can make out the first two letters of 'Alpine' on the stern, by the very careful zoom.

Kind Regards (Thumb)

The Clan MacGillivray never had bridge control. She was a conventional RD Sulzer.
She also had Rolls Royce Generators, wonderful machines.

No, she is not Tyne built.

She was built 1967, completed in April, by Scotts of Greenock on the Clyde.

...(I have the details correct this time, gents !)
