Andrew Weir's 1957 Belfast built CLOVERBANK is seen passing Portishead, outbound from Avonmouth exactly fifty years ago today, on 19th September 1970.

She had been sold at Avonmouth to Y.C.Chang's Pacific International Lines (P.I.L.) but sailed from Avonmouth in P.I.L. colours still as CLOVERBANK
