Ships Nostalgia banner

Whenever I sail on Corio Bay I take my Canon Powershot A70 with me, and if there are ships in the Bay we investigate, and when ashore Google the ship's name, and track down a wealth of interesting information about the ship. Other times, I use the Pentax DSLR when shooting from on land.
I strongly recommend Google as a source of information which adds greatly to the quality of postings.

In this case, her details are :
IMO - 9185750
Length - 225m.
Beam - 32.33 m.
Draught - 13.52 m.
GRT/DWT - 37872/72443
Main Engine - B & W 9752 kW, speed 14.5 knots.

She was built by Sasebo Heavy Industries in 1999 for owners Kumiai Senpaku, and is registered in Panama. She has been anchored in the Bay for over a week, possibly explained by her flying the yellow Q flag for the entire time.

Correction, on closer examination I think the yellow flag has a symbol on it, so it's probably the house flag.
The reason for the long stay at anchor is that grain deliveries have been delayed by widespread floods in Victoria.
