Does the ferry have another name, or is she just called Corran Ferry? I passed through here on Waverley last May and couldn't see a name on her.
The day was just as pictured..................weather and scenery beautiful!!

Pete, her name is "Corran". She succeeded "Maid of Glencoul", which is now spare vessel, and "Rosehaugh", which was sold some years ago.

Hi Pete and Dave, the vessel just arriving at the barge is the Maid of Glencoul, she is usually the back up for the Vessel seen in the background the MV Corran. As the Corran can’t lie alongside the barge the Maid of Glencoul will be operating until the repairs are finished, then the Corran will resume her role as the main Ferry

Ian, Thanks for that info, it's nice to be able to put a name to another photo (one that I'd been looking at, only yesterday - then up pops one of the same ship on SN!!)
