"Farringford" (1947, 489 grt) Built for Southern Railway Lymington-Yarmouth (IoW) service, 32 cars;320 pass (or 812 (summer); 619 (winter) passengers only (Class IV)). Transferred to Humber ferry 1974; replaced by bridge 1981. Diesel-Electric propulsion to independent side paddle wheels. Sold to Western Ferries, Glasgow but not used; broken up 1984.
