Great ship, spent about 4years on her in the 70's, kiwi, fiji, honolulu & the west coast of the states

RECALL HER MAKING HER MAIDEN VOYAGE FROM THE GLADSTONE DOCK LIVERPOOL A BLIZZARD ON AT THE TIME HER UPPER DECKS FLOODLIT IN THE SNOW AT TWILIGHT WOULD HAVE MADE A ICONIC PICTURE I WAS PASSING ON ANOTHER VESSEL AT THE TIME REGRET NO HAVING A CAMERA HANDY. KYPROS

Went round the coast on her in 1962 hoping to get the deepsea post but alas the 2nd leckie came back and I had to settle for the Hobart Star. Not a bad ship either. Ah well!
