Can somebody please provide basic information about this German coaster FRIEDA which I photographed on the Kiel Canal in April 1967, since I cannot identify her from my sources ? Thank you.

Manfred, I missed the Dan part of the name because the coaster only has one short name, I didn't reverse the photo I read the name backwards... ...(Thumb)

I am guessing that the Frida Dan would be a Lauritzen ship which as you say the above ship is not...

Cheers Frank

Dear Both,
Thanks, but FRIDA DAN was the name of the next ship in my collection when it was unfortunately affected by flooding and the ink transferred to the adjacent print. Thus that is not this one, which is the FRIEDA but I can find nothing about her and any data would be welcome.

Dear Arne,
Many thanks for your excellent, comprehensive information. I really appreciate this and your kind helpfulness. I apologise for not replying in Latin, but I also like your apt quotation.
Thanks again, and very best wishes,
MauriceJ.
