Looking at this photo reminds me that there used to be a 'liquid chocolate' vessel that frequently carried 'sludge' or 'city waste' out to the Bristol Channel spoil grounds. I think it was called Glen Avon. did you ever get any photos of her Malcolm? I remember seeing the two sludge vessels on the Clyde that did a similar job but also gave trips "doon the watter" for the OAPs of Glasgow. Did Glen Avon carry passengers on day trips?

"Shieldhall" was one Clyde sludge boat that took OAPs on river trips. Sold to Southern Water Southampton in 1977.
