Combination of Hawker Sea Furies (5 bladed propellers) and Fairey Fireflys (4 blades) on deck, looks to me like a delivery run, as most of the aircraft have canvas covers over the cockpits and engine cowlings. In fact could be HMAS Sydney's first voyage from UK to Australia, where she arrived in May 1949, with such aircraft on board. I understand that there was a slight delay after her commissioning into the RAN in Devonport in late 1948, due to some final builder's problems, to her actual arrival in Australia, which was in May 1949.
