I was stood just by the Tower of London. Not a bad picture for a camera phone?!

They towed her stern first through the bridge. I believe, I'm not 100% certain, they turned her further down river near Canada Water / Greenwich (standard practice since a Leander class frigate rammed London bridge in the 80's?)

charlielloyd, yes, vessels entering or departing the upper pool stern first would normally turn around in Blackwall Reach by the West India Dock entrance (Canary Wharf).
