Good morning 3x B...

I think this one is HMS CEYLON. The bridge front on the BERMUDA... and the others was found... CEYLON's was flat with rounder corners.

Hi 3xB,

I've checked several sources including Wright & Logan's THE ROYAL NAVY IN FOCUS 1950 -59.

The photo shows CEYLON.

HMS Ceylon was in Australian waters in early 1954 for the Queen's visit, she visited Hobart in February 1954 along with HMCS Ontario, HMNZS Black Prince, HMAS Australia, HMAS Vengeance, HMAS Anzac,
HMAS Condamine, HMAS Shoalhaven and HMAS Quadrant.

This was CEYLON before she was fitted with an enclosed bridge, she looked immaculate here, sailed in her on her last commission to the Far East in 1958, sold to Peru in Jan/Feb 1960, she served with their navy until mid 1980s, then went the scrap yard, I believe her name was changed when she was placed in reserve.
