A sullage lighter? One would have thought all work on these vessels was complete on departing Devonport. There was a small RN/Serco team sitting around the stern area waiting for the work to be complete.

it seems that all the 22's had small rectangular protrusions dotted around the hull sides, as seen here on the hangar sides, they were also on the bows, any idea as to what they were for? i always had the impression they were some sort of sensor?

They ,came off the batch 2 type 22 and where used by sneaky beakies comms to listen only . Not fitted from build after the batch2 were pay off.
