Used mainly for Northern Ireland Patrol vessels, her and Cygnet used to work Grenada patrol (Carlingford Lough), very cramped ships and had the ability to roll on wet grass!
Additional weapons fitted for NI patrol:
2 x LMG on bridge wings
1 x 50 cal HMG on Focsle
2 x GMPG in waists

In the Mid 80's the ships had an additional 20 foot stern extension added during refits at Rosyth, this area was used as accomodation to ease the cramped conditions for the crew and provide some additional space for a 'Bootneck' contingent.

Regards,

Tom
