Loved these hard worked little Gunboats, I would have loved to have seen one first hand.

Great photo of "Ladybird" along with other vessels of the day on the Yangtse, river steamers, junks etc. However, the location isn't Shanghai but Ichang (Yichang), about 930 miles upriver from Shanghai. Thanks for interesting post.
