HMS Worcester Eagle Comic

Eagle Comic Centrefold of HMS Worcester naval training ship which was based at Greenhithe on the Thames. I was on her from 1962 - 1965.
The three Worcesters (this being Worcester III) were primarily in use to train Cadets to further a career in the Merchant Navy as Ships Officers.

Hi Barry,
Maybe you will see this and reply..Also interesting for Barnsey although I think he has the original.
Prewar the Worcester was named Exmouth and was moored off Grays.
The uncle of my pal Percy Choppen had a large rowboat and he delivered fresh provisions daily
to Exmouth from the causeway.
Percy and I often helped him so I have boarded her many times long ago.
Regards,
Stan

I did my two week pre-sea and ONC phase 1 on her in the early 70's, had a lot of laughs!
