I realise that the next comment will upset a few, but personally I was very proud to be British during the Queens Jubilee. I just wish that they had brought Britannia to the Pool of London for her to watch that superb choir instead of from that improvised barge she was on!

I agree, to be honest despite all the hoopla, I thought the procession was rubbish and hardly reflects the fantastic monarch we are blessed with. Such occassions should be pomp and ceremony demonstrating our great royal and British heritage. Canoes and barges symbolise the liberal desire to make the royal family look ordinary which they are certainly not. Bring back the yacht and let's fly are flag for reasons other than Olympics and football.

The Danish Royal Yacht is much older than Britannia and in imaculate condition,they could have kept her going for many more years.

i'm here in new zealand and agree with you all....the britannia should never of been taken of the queen....i'm sure it wouldn't take very much at all to put her back in service......what a disgrace,bring back britannia!
